A dotted eighth note in that 180bpm 6/8 is equal to a quarter note in the new 4/4 time, in which the QUARTER note gets the measure. So the modulation is from 6/8 at 180bpm to 4/4 at 120bpm. E.g., if you have a note 8 half-steps up from C, and the key is A minor, then it's probably G#, an augmented 5th. But if the key is Eb, Ab, or Db (or their relative minors), then the note is almost certainly Ab, a minor 6th. But if the key is C major, it might be either. It could be G# if the note is between G and A (going up). 2. Spell out the notes in the chords: Cm7 (11) = C Eb G Bb (F) F7 = F A C Eb Six notes, 2 flats. The missing note is D, but is unlikely to be Db. So - the key signature is 2 flats! Normally, of course, that indicates the keys of either Bb major or G minor. But here, neither Bb nor Gm appear. The fact C is keynote means this is " in C dorian mode".
