A recoil damper is what's called for if you're going to shoot a lot of heavy loads on a shotgun as light as the KS7. Of course, a bunch of heavy rounds being fired is unlikely in a gunfight.

The TS is faster to reload, softer shooting, balanced better, faster times in competition against the KSG, and all around more fun (IMHO). The only reason I don’t sell the KSG is because I don’t believe in selling guns.
If you're finding the XDR for $30 more than the regular Romeo 5 you're either getting a really good deal on the XDR or a really bad deal on the regular one because it's normally about $100 more. A brief search and I found the Romeo 5 for $169 and the XDR for $279. I think the XDR takes regular AA batteries too.
